Slim-profile isolation for slurry and solids.
Slim-profile isolation valves for slurry, pulp, powder, effluent and solids-handling services where a sharp blade cuts through the media.
Supplied through selected market sources. Manufacturer and model are confirmed in the quotation; SIYA is not represented as the manufacturer.

Overview
A knife gate valve drives a thin blade through the flow to cut and seal against fibrous, viscous or solids-laden media that would block a standard gate valve.
Resilient-seated versions give bubble-tight shut-off; metal-seated versions suit abrasive or hot service. The slim body saves space and weight in tight pipework.
Construction options
These are general valve-family descriptions, not a statement that every configuration is available. The selected supplier and design are confirmed for each quotation.
| Design | Description | Typical context |
|---|---|---|
| Wafer | Compact body fitting between flanges | Tight pipework, general slurry |
| Lug / double-flanged | Threaded lugs for end-of-line and maintenance | Dead-end service, heavy duty |
| Resilient-seated | Elastomer seat for tight shut-off | Wastewater, pulp, mild slurry |
| Metal-seated | Hardened seat for abrasion and temperature | Mining, ash, cement |
| Bonnetless | No packing gland; reduces leakage risk with solids | Powder, bulk handling |
Technical selection
No model-specific size, pressure, temperature, materials, certificates or standards are guaranteed by this page. The exact specification is checked against the selected supplier's datasheet and confirmed in writing before supply.
Please do not select a valve from a general web description alone. SIYA will confirm the offered make, model, datasheet and deviations with the quotation.
